We finally arrived in Bari after a 4 hour layover in Paris. Flights were great. Getting our rental car was a problem. So in Italy, you need to have an EU drivers license. If you don’t, they charged you $600 for insurance. I think it is run by the Mafia. If we were from the EU it would have cost us $11 for the license. Anyways, we got that straightened out and went to pick up the car and Billy literally did not fit into it. We had to go back and get one with more leg room. Finally got to our hotel and had dinner at a lovely restaurant named Giampa. Heading off to bed. It’s been a long day. Ciao for now❤️
