Today we went into the center of Bari. Bari is very congested with lots of apartment buildings. The tallest one I saw was 12 stories. It reminds me of Catania with lots of graffiti on the buildings. The waterfront is beautiful facing the Adriatic Sea.

The image shows the large mural painted on the port silos (Granaria della Sicilia) in Bari, Italy, created by the Australian artist Guido van Helten.

We visited the Basilica San Nicola. There were many visitors milling around but also a wedding was about to begin.

We wandered around the back streets.

One of the best things we did, was go to the Farmacia. The Farmacista was fantastic. He helped us with medicine for our coughs, the best toothpaste, cream for my skin and sunscreen.

We then headed back to the hotel for a day at the pool.

Tomorrow we will be spending our last day in Bari and then heading to Alberobello.

Ciao for now.
