Some observations for today…

There are not a lot of flowers. There are a few bushes that do have flowers but other than the cacti there are no flowers. The ground is very dry and the grass is brown.

Stop signs are ignored.

Most houses are gated.

This is the entrance into our compound. There are rock walls everywhere. The walls are more placed than in Ireland.

Restaurants don’t open until 8pm. Everything shuts down from 1pm – 5pm.

While there is a lot of fields separated by the walls, there are not a lot of farm animals.

Today’s adventure was to a ceramic laboratory. We met Ciro our teacher at this beautiful resort. There was a conference space along with a hotel, pool, work out facility. Let me say that Billy was the star pupil in the class.

We drove over to Cisternino.

We saw a few churches.

I thought this was funny.

It looks like it is a toy next to Billy.

We grab some lunch from this place.

Walking back to the car we saw..

We headed back to our compound to take our daily nap.

We went back in the center of Alberobello to find the Church of Saints Cosmas and Damiano.

They have started putting up their Christmas decorations.

For dinner, Bill ordered Spaghetti aglio olio peperoncino. I ordered Strascinate intergali which is pasta with pumpkin, tomato and parmigiano formaggio.

Back to the compound for the night. Ciao for now.❤️
